Welcome To the Eastern States Exposition Heritage Horse Show. An A-Rated Championship Horse Show proudly sponsored by Budweiser. It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Eastern States Exposition Horse Show – one of the great traditions of The Big E. Saddle up and get ready to see some of the most beautiful horses trot, jump and leap, all from your seat in the grandstands of the Coliseum. From Hackney ponies to the towering Draft horses, these animals provide entertainment for the whole family as they compete against one another for a blue ribbon. From the athleticism of Hunters to the beauty of Saddle horses and amazing agility of Draft horses, you are sure to be amazed as they are put through their paces. The Eastern States Exposition Horse Show is sure to impress you as these majestic animals proudly strut their stuff.

The designation of a USEF Heritage Competition is reserved for competitions that have been established for a long period of time and have made substantial contributions toward the development and promotion of the sport, both within the broader community, by achieving, maintaining and promoting the equestrian ideals of the sportsmanship and competition. Making ESE only the 22nd show in the country to have this award and only the 5th show to have both our Hunter Show and Saddle Show with this prestigious award.

ESE Equestrian Hall of Fame

The Eastern States Exposition Equestrian Hall of Fame was established in 2014 to recognize individuals and equines who have demonstrated excellence in their discipline, made significant achievements in the competition world and have made outstanding contributions to the sport and equestrian community.

Nominations are open to actively competing or retired horses as well as individuals who have been affiliated with Eastern States Exposition at year-round shows or Big E horse shows.

The Eastern States Equestrian Hall of Fame Presentation will take place in the Coliseum during The Big E.
