Eric and Julie Jacque of Sunderland, MA are no strangers to the Jersey breed. Both hailing from their family farms in Amherst, MA, their love of the Jersey cow started at a young age.Once the respective families sold their herds in the late 90’s, Eric and Julie still remained active in the local Jersey scene.Purchasing a Jersey heifer in 2009, they picked up the passion of owning cattle, right where it left off from years prior.Since then they have continued to work with their two daughters to breed and develop their cattle. This couple has always supported local shows, helped revive the Massachusetts State Jersey Show, and consistently attend the Jersey show here at Eastern States. The Jacques have been expanding their breeding program while supporting the breed in the area by consigning animals to the Massachusetts Blue Ribbon 4H Calf Sale, and other New England Jersey sales. They exhibit at local, regionaland national levels, and are strong promoters of the Jersey breed.
