Bill Taylor & Beth Roberts

Bill Taylor, Oldwick, New Jersey.

Bill Taylor was born and raised on a family farm consisting of registered Jerseys in Walton, NY. At a young age he then went to work for Dream Street. While there he worked with the great cows such as; Campbell Ultimate Kate, Millrvue Ultimate Rosalyn and Brookview Tony Charity. In the mid 90's Bill was hired to manage and develop the herd of Jerseys at Sycamore Hill Farm. While there the herd became one of the top herds of Jerseys in the country. The Klussendorf award was presented to Bill in 2000.

Bill is currently the Dairy and Ag Manager for Cedar Lane Farm in Oldwick, N.J. along with his partner Beth Roberts. The farm milks 65 Registered cows and another 50 head of calves and heifers. The herd is 90% Holsteins and 10% Jerseys with a herd average of 25,000 lbs. milk and 1,200 lbs. fat. Cedar Lane's crop division is made up of about 500 acres of land, growing grass, alfalfa hay and corn.

Bill has made Cedar Lane known over the last few years breeding, buying, developing and selling cattle that have become All-American Nominations or National Champions. To name a few: Milk & Honey Doorman Madision, OCD Defiant Lethal-ET, Ms Windbrook Bambi-ET, Ms McGucci Amour-ET, Ms Libyes Wind Lysette-ET, Kingway Doorman Andrea-ET, Curr-Vail ABS Adore-Red, Milk & Honey Destry Ruby, Underground Awesome Adline, Underground Andreas Mai Tai (Jersey).

Bill has judged at all levels and breeds from County and State Shows to World Dairy Expo. He enjoys seeing and judging great cattle as well as working with them on a daily basis.
Beth G. Roberts, Oldwick, New Jersey.

Beth grew up on a Registered Holstein farm in Litchfield, New York. She has degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Business. After graduation she received a scholarship to study and attend an Agricultural University in Germany.

Beth Roberts worked for Blue Seal Feeds in dairy nutrition for several years. Currently she is Co-Manager at Cedar Lane Farm in Oldwick, New Jersey. Beth words together with her partner, Bill Taylor and they have bred, developed and shown many All-New York; All-New England; All-New Jersey and All-American Cattle. The farm promotes Pro-Agriculture and Pro-Youth in Agriculture. Cedar Lane offers internships, work study and open houses to educate people about the dairy industry.
