He has been playing music 30+ years on stages from far and wide, from Stowe, Vermont to Nashville, Tennessee. He has also written jingles for radio stations, and his original song "The Hollow," which he wrote in 1996 in memory of his grandfather, has made it to the radio, too. His music is available across most major streaming platforms.
Phil Lanz hails from Renssealaer, NY. Lanz's love for Rock & Roll began with The Beatles at 4 years old. He developed a backbeat drum style that he lended to many bands based in Albany, NY.
Sandy Adee of Kinderhook, NY is wife to Joe and a similarly inspired musician. Her admiration for music began at 3 years old when her father would play drums, and she would dance to the beat. She spent 5 years singing chorus and has played on stage with Joe for the last 12 years. However, she's served as his manager for even longer!
Steve Barmash was born and raised in Flushing, NY. He honed his instrumental skills as a cellist in a youth orchestra in Queens, NY. His biggest early successes came as a member of the million-record selling band The Impalas. After moving to Capital District in New York State, Barmash performed and recorded with many groups, and is presently a member of Joe Adee and the Lug Nuts.
